In ogni casa ci sono delle porcellane amate che vengono custodite gelosamente per poi essere sfoggiate in occasioni speciali, come cene con amici cari o per le grandi occasioni annuali..
Solitamente sono oggetti ereditati dalle nonne o scovati in mercati dell'antiquariato reali o virtuali e sono quelli che abbiamo paura di mettere nella lavastoviglie e che laviamo a mano molto volentieri, anche se poi roviniamo tutto lo smalto! :)
Nel mio caso ciò a cui tengo tantissimo sono alcuni oggetti ormai fuori produzione da molti anni o da collezione, che sono riuscita a trovare nel tempo grazie alla mia costanza fino a farne dei serviti interi che posso usare quando voglio avere una tavola davvero speciale: sono piatti da collezione della Rosenthal disegnati da Emilio Pucci e comprati uno per uno in negozi Ebay in Germania, piatti di Roberta di Camerino degli anni '70 contornati dalla famosa cintura della stilista, un vassoio della Rosenthal linea Acapulco scovato a Lucca all'antiquariato in un pomeriggio d'inverno e piattini da dessert degli anni '60 della Richard Ginori con una meravigliosa stampa dei foulard di Emilo Pucci talmente introvabili che mi hanno davvero messo alla prova :)
Bene, la cena e' finita e gli amici sono andati via; cosa resta da fare?....

They are usually inherited objects by grandmothers or found in antique markets, real or virtual, and those who we are afraid to put in the dishwasher and that we wash hand gladly, even if we ruin any polish! :)
In my case that to which I hold a lot are some items out of production for many years or collectibles, that I was able to find over time thanks to my perseverance that I can use when I want to have a very special table: they are collector plates from Rosenthal designed by Emilio Pucci and bought one by one in Ebay shops in Germany, Roberta di Camerino '70s dishes surrounded by the famous fashion designer belt, a Rosenthal tray-Acapulco line discovered in Lucca antiques in a winter afternoon and Richard Ginori '60s dessert plates with a wonderful Emilo Pucci print scarf so hard to find that I have really put to the test :)
Well, dinner is over and friends are gone, what remains to be done?
